Frequently asked questions
Will the adhesive damage my paint?
No – when removed correctly. Warm the stopper for a few seconds with a hairdryer, then peel slowly at an angle. Avoid applying to walls painted within the last 30 days, while paint is still curing.
Which size should I choose for my door knob?
Standard round knobs: Medium 2″. Lever handles: Small 0.8″ placed at the wall contact point. Large or commercial knobs: Large 3.15″.
Do they work on textured walls?
Yes on light-to-medium texture – press firmly for 30 seconds when installing. On heavily textured walls, mount the stopper on the baseboard or on the door itself instead.
Is there an adhesive-free option?
Yes – our silicone ring bumpers (10 and 20 packs) slip behind the door knob with no adhesive at all, ideal for renters and homes with kids and pets.
